FAITH FORMATION – BUILDING CHARACTER IN YOUR CHILDREN

23 May 2010, 1.30pm @ Novena Church Peter Ponder's Room

This year's faith formation talk will be on building character in our children, especially the young. We have invited 2 interesting guest speakers, as well as Mark Tan, our own member, to give talks on this topic. We hope that all parents will be able to spare some time to attend this event.

1. Dr. Koh Thiam Seng – Principal of St. Joseph’s Institution

- What SJI is doing in their school programs, to build character.

2. Fr. Erbin Fernandez - Spiritual Director of Catechetical Office

- What the Church is doing in Catechism Classes.

3. Mark Tan – Author, Parent, and Publications Secretary, CFSM

- What parents can do at home.

Learn how you can supplement at home, what is done in schools, and by the Church, to build “character” in your children.

The talk is free for all CFSM members, and you are encouraged to bring along friends who are parents and want to learn how to bring up children better, and how to be better parents.
